While joblessness is at an all time high; it seems like everyone I know is making major moves in some way or another. It doesn't matter if your in a corporate or creative environment it's more important now to be a "Jack of all trades" and a master of at least one,  where I'm from they call it a side hustle!

I came up in the era where it was super important to go to college but now young people are saving college for later and going the entrepreneurial track and while that works for some I suggest doing both. For example make sure you are a master at something become a CPA, a Pharmacist, a Lawyer, a Doctor get a MBA, make sure you have something that's your bread and butter; then venture off into passion. One thing people fail to realize is that passion rarely pays the bills and it doesn't hurt to work for five years in a corporate environment to fund your creative passion.

Take the time to think about which path you want to go down; honestly this is a mistake I made early on! Follow your dreams but try not to be homeless on the journey! A guaranteed way to avoid that is to become a "Jack of all trades" it will help you work though the time it will take you to launch your creative dream! Trust me!

Take Solange for example, she's a Master of Singing and Song writing but that hasn't stopped her from becoming a "Jack of all Trades", DJ'ing, Modeling, Acting, being a Spokesperson and even taking a shot at Photography! She's a great example of exploring all of your talents.
